From the beginning to end he was very professional, knowledgeable & promising & informed me about my repair every step of the way, even got my car fixed two days before I had to return my rental. Message: After 2 failed attempts to schedule me in their busy schedule, I randomly brought my car in on memorial weekend (Saturday) and they were kind enough to work on the car same-day. I needed it later that day, so they were a lifesaver for being able to work on it on such a short notice. My car was experiencing squeaking/rattling noise while braking. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it for me. For the cost, full brake service ran me $525/ea for front + back. Brake fluid flush was $189. I’d say cost is in line with the industry average imo. I’m glad I didn’t have to jump through BS hoops like other shops so I’m glad they gave it to me straight and did what they needed to do. I’d come back here again for other services and I’d recommend it as a place with competitive pricing + excellent mechanics + no BS shop.

Message: Issac does amazing work! No matter the task gets the job done and goes above and beyond to make sure it’s done correctly. He has helped me to install many parts on my car including engine parts, cosmetics, and a new exhaust installation. I will to continue to go to Issac alone as I only trust him to do the work! Great customer service at a good cost.

Message: Wow. This place is the real deal. They give 5 star service and at the same time give you the local owned feel. At a time where most businesses are cutting their service quality to just make an extra dollar, it's great to see that some are going above and beyond for their customers. Scotty's is that place that takes it's service seriously. I visited the location with an emergency on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they handled the situation beyond my expectations. And all the staff is friendly and gracious. I will forever be a customer of Scotty's based on this experience. I recommend you use them too!

Message: Scotty's was great! We were visiting our daughter and had driven from Chicago. Somewhere along the way developed horrible sounds from the right rear brake. I searched repair shops online, read reviews and decided on Scotty's which was close by with excellent reviews, deservedly so. Talked to Isaac over the phone and said he could look at it the same day. I drove over, he looked at the right rear and could pretty much tell it was a seized caliper. Left it for him to look into it further. He called back in within an hour, that what he said was true. My other rear brake had minimal pad left so I went for a complete rear brake job.. I agreed to terms (which I thought were reasonable) and he got it done by the end of the day. We still had a lot of traveling to do, going upstate and eventually back to Chicago. The brakes were perfect. No issues after 800+ miles. Isaac was a prince of a guy, very friendly and knowledgeable. Scotty's is definitely the kind of shop you want to have as your "go to". Message: I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Scotty’s Auto Repair, and working with Isaac in particular. My car was damaged and required significant repairs to the front end. Isaac gave me an honest & fair assessment, helped work with insurance company (big thank you for that support! ) and did an impressive job with the repairs. Additionally, there was some concern regarding getting parts and timeliness of how long repairs would take. Isaac & his team worked diligently and were able to get my car back in a reasonable time frame. I am appreciative of how communicative he was during this entire process as well. Highly recommend!

Message: The positive reviews are legit! Go here if you're on the lookout for a reputable, hard-working, honest, above-and-beyond mechanic shop! Have been to a few places in Stamford, and have now found my mechanic match! In previous reviews, Isaac is mentioned for going the extra mile, and it's true, he really does. I'm a mom and take care of my daughter full time, which makes it difficult to find a mechanic that can do the repairs quickly (while we wait in the lobby), but Isaac saved the day and arranged a ride for us home and a ride back to pick up the car, saving us the wait at the shop. We live close by, which is why they were able to do it, but this one gesture spoke volumes about the lengths they'll go to for their customers. We'll be customers for life! The work they did was not only fast, but affordable, and without an upsell a lot of shops try to impart on a customer. Thank you Isaac, we appreciate you!
